Film screening of  "War Redefined, the capstone of Women, War & Peace”
Sunday, March 29, 2:00pm-4:00pm, free event.
Join The Women Worldwide Initiative for a film screening on women, war and peace, as we spotlight the stories of women in conflict zones, and learn how we are investing in girl's leadership in the South Bronx and Brooklyn! We believe that women and girls have the power to change the world. This includes making important contributions in the peace process.

"War Redefined, the capstone of Women, War & Peace”, challenges the conventional wisdom that war and peace are men's domain through incisive interviews with leading thinkers, Secretaries of State, and seasoned survivors of war and peace-making. Interviewees include Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; Liberian peace activist Leymah Gbowee; Bosnian war crimes investigator Fadila Memisevic; and globalization expert Moises Naim. War Redefined is an unprecedented inquiry into the ways war shapes women’s lives—and into the ways women are shaping the future of conflict." Free event!
